Virginia originally obtained her nursing training in the Philippines, and then began her career in Canada as a Licensed Practical Nurse nine years ago. She remains very active and current in her profession working as a Care Coordinator in a seniors’ residence.
She joined the Drake Medox College team as a Health Care Assistant Program instructor to share her experience and knowledge, and to mentor students to become compassionate, competent and conscientious caregivers. Virginia uses activities, current events and real life scenarios to help students connect with and understand the importance of a Health Care Assistant role.
Highly respected by her students, Virginia brings a deeply caring commitment and enthusiasm to her instructor role at Drake Medox College.
