Sarah immigrated to Canada from the Philippines in 2016, where she helped manage her family’s pharmacy business. Inspired to pursue a career in healthcare, she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 2018 and has since worked as a Charge Nurse in a Behavioural Support Transition Neighbourhood (BSTN) within a long-term care setting.
As an instructor, Sarah is passionate about sharing her clinical knowledge and real-world experience to help students build confidence and succeed in their healthcare careers. She values compassion, respect, teamwork, and lifelong learning, and strives to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing new skills, and growing both personally and professionally.
