Rona was a practicing Midwife in the Philippines before immigrating to Canada in 1998. Here she has been a LPN since 2007 working in Acute care in hospital settings, and as a Client Services Supervisor for one of the largest Home Support agencies in BC.
In addition to classroom and clinical instruction, Rona is also a key contributor to the development of Drake Medox College’s Health Care Assistant Program curriculum.
Rona believes that everyone in the classroom is equal, and that learning is a continuous process that is enhanced by the collective experience of both the instructor and the students. She invites her students to share and learn from each other in pursuit of becoming the best HCAs possible!
